We know that in many cases parents financially support students during their time at Northeastern. Since housing deposits for upper class students are not a part of the standard bill, it is usually up to the student to remind the parent to submit a housing deposit.
If you would like your parent/guardian to be notified of any upcoming Housing related deposit and application deadlines via email, please complete the information on the student portal and click “Submit My Preference” at the bottom. If at any time your preferences or your parent/guardian email changes, simply return to this page and re-submit the new information.
Students can add their parents via Student Hub-> Resources -> Housing Online -> Forms/Requests -> Parent Email Opt-in.
Please note: this is to keep your parent/guardian updated only on deposit deadlines, and not on all communication from Housing and Residential Life.
