Summer I Move-in
Summer I move-in depends on a students assignment, please do NOT book travel outside of Boston until you have received your confirmed move-to-from date.
If You are Moving in from Outside of Boston Campus Housing:
Request a change in arrival for Summer I
As you review your travel plans in the upcoming weeks, it is imperative that you arrive during your scheduled move-in date and time. If you cannot arrive during that date and time, you must select an alternate arrival date and time from a dynamic list of available time slots for your building.
Arrival dates and times are limited per date, time, and building. You can access the Move-in Time Slot Change process in Housing Online.
Parking/unloading passes and directions
Parking is not guaranteed and is based on a first come first serve basis. Parking/Unloading Passes are good for entry after 7am and departure before 11pm during the listed moving days only.

Move to-from checklist
- Do not schedule travel until you have your move to/from date assigned.
- Check your Northeastern Email for your move date in mid-April.
- Know where to get a hamper to help you move.
- Make sure you have all of your belongings and your apartment is clean before you check out
- Complete Self Check-In to your Summer space & Self Check out via Housing Online for your Spring room on your move date

Air Conditioners
For buildings that do not have central air (You can find the list of buildings and their eligibility here), air conditioners will be available to rent at a One Summer Semester (half summer) or full summer rate, after the start of the semester. Please note, not every room in buildings without central air are eligible for air conditioner units.
The request form will be available on Housing Online under Spring/Summer I 2024 and “Summer 2024: AC Request Form”. Please fill out the form to determine eligibility. Once your request form has been approved, approvals take 2-3 business days to process, you will be billed the air conditioner fee on your Student Account. AC units are installed in about 2-3 business days after approval.
Summer I Move-out
Summer I 2024 semester ends June 25 or students in classes and June 28 for students on co-op. Students will move out, 24 hours after their last final exam or by 7pm on June 25 which ever comes first. For students on co-op that move out deadline is 9pm on on June 28. Students moving to a new assignment for Summer II will move on their assigned Move-to-From Date.
