The University provides each student with a bed, desk, chair, dresser and window shade. This is true whether you are living in a traditional residence hall, a suite-style accommodation, or an apartment. Some double and triple rooms have only one closet to share with your roommate(s).
What You May Want to Bring to Campus:
Please use the below list as a guideline and choose what is essential for you. We recommend that you communicate with your roommate and do not over-pack. After the start of term rush, you can have additional items shipped to you.
It is recommended you pack in duffel bag style options that can be folded for storing, if possible, as space in your room will be limited, and these type of bags can remain with you for repacking when you depart.

While early September will have some hot days, the Fall climate in Boston cools quickly, dropping from average high temperatures of 73°F to 62°F by October.
